Traditional Stroke Training (the FAST test) can miss up to 20% of strokes. Our ASLS training reduces the risk of that happening by teaching its learners how to conduct the MEND (Miami Emergency Neurological Deficit) exam confidently and correctly. This is typically conducted after the FAST test and reduces the chances of missing a stroke.
This course is ideal for anybody working in a pre hospital setting who want to reduce the risk of missing a patient with a possible stroke. Our course was developed in conjunction with the University of Miami, and the NHS and our training certificates are endorsed by the UK Stroke Forum and the University of Miami.
